PAYMENT FOR MOBILE CONVENIENCE FEE IS EXPECTED IN FULL AT TIME OF SCHEDULING.

Appointment time for Standard Mobile Service is 30 minutes of service. Appointments extending beyond this schedule will incur a $3 p/ 5 minute surcharge.

if a customer is not at the stated location at the agreed upon time (10 minute grace period)

if a customer is unable to be notarized due to lack of valid identification, inability to communicate (does not speak English, incapacitated, etc.), incomplete documentation, or lack of witnesses. It is your responsibility to verify all of this prior to making the appointment.

All signers must personally appear before the Notary, present a valid government-issued photo ID, and sign in the Notary's presence. Signers must understand the document and be signing voluntarily. The document must be complete, with no blank spaces, before it can be notarized. Signers must be prepared to declare if they are acknowledging their signature (signing and then having it notarized) or taking an oath/affirmation (swearing to the truth of the document).
All forms of identification must be valid. The following is a list of acceptable forms of ID.

Notorial Acts can be refused by the Notary Public if:

A signer the Notary does not know, personally, has no identification

A signer refuses to complete blank spaces

A signer appears frightened or confused about the notary act or appears unwilling to sign the document

A signer behaves in a threatening manner toward the Notary
-
A signer refuses to appear before the Notary personally
-
A signer refuses to take an oath as required, or to verbally acknowledge signing the document presented

The Notary has information about the transaction that reveals it is fraudulent or unlawful
-
The Notary and the signer are unable to speak the same language and have no interpreter
-
A document presented to be copied is a public record or publicly recordable document
-
The Notary is involved in the transaction or stand to gain in any way

The Notary is unfamiliar with the notarial act to be performed
